Sustainable Housing

Bioclimatic, ecological, designed for low energy consumption - sustainable housing achieves maximum efficiency with minimal environmental impact. The goal of sustainable housing now involves virtually every area of construction, as well as policy areas aiming to develop strategies and incentives for zero-impact home-building. This book explains the different kinds of "ecological" buildings, problems involving the measurement of energetic and environmental sustainability, techniques for adapting existing housing, and also offers a global outlook on the future of energy in the building trade.
